Draped Wisteria + Spring tones

La Lomita Ranch Wedding

Emily + Kevin

La Lomita Ranch, San Luis Obispo, California

A custom welcome sign bursting with flowers was the first impression for this La Lomita Ranch wedding, a floral feature I loved creating. Ultimately, this was a hint that the flowers were going to be a central part of the design. To start, the ceremony was filled with flowers — creating an aromatic statement that enriched the occasion. We used a floral arch to create a gorgeous, lush environment that delicately complemented the mountainous scene behind the couple — framing them without blocking the view. The aisle flowers, too, led the way for a beautiful ceremony. This couple’s wanderlust inspired the spring-tinged creams, beiges, soft peach, and blush tones — reminiscent of springtime excursions they’ve taken as a couple. It was the perfect fit for the event’s lively, fun-filled ambiance. The floral trend continued into the reception, where this San Luis Obispo venue came to life with gorgeous chandeliers that I draped with greenery and wisteria flowers. This celebration was a lush wedding for the ages.
