Pristine Pastel Hues
Featured in Brides Magazine, I had the honor of designing the floral arrangements for Jessica Batten’s wedding, who you might recognize from “Love is Blind.” Their Santa Barbara elopement had a sprinkling of just the right colors with just-picked garden flowers that highlighted the warmth of the day, and its meaning. The tablescape was a floral oeuvre, composed of dahlias, garden roses, yarrow, and more. A slight offset of pastel dandelion-yellows and blush pinks made the perfect accents to this pearl-toned celebration. And the white ranunculus in the bride’s hair seemed — almost — to be unfurling out to create a fountain-like trail of her headpiece. From an intimate vow exchange under the shade of palm trees in the courtyard of their private estate, to a vintage Porsche exit, their day can be summed up by calm intimacy and effortless synergy.
